Designed by architect Kohn, Pedersen Fox Associates and developed by Boston Properties Inc., this 40-story tower stands at the "Crossroads of the World" in Times Square.
Located at the intersection of 7th Avenue and 42nd Street, the tower contains 1,000,000 rentable square feet of office space and 100,000 square feet of retail space.
Structural wind resistance consists of a modified tube system which allows for a core free of large steel bracing members. The system maximizes rentable floor space by keeping core services as compact as possible.
Marco Shmerykowsky was the Project Engineer responsible for all phases of the design of this project for the engineer of record.
