Undulating LED signage for Aeropostale's Times Square outlet required the installation of new stub-outs through existing curtain wall mullions without damaging the adjoining glazing. Horizontal primary steel tubes span from stub-out to stub-out. In one bay, project criteria required the sign to be installed in close proximity to the face of the building. As a result, the horizontal primary steel could not be accomodated. A support structure was constructed within the building from which the new stub-outs were mounted. These stub-outs were flush with the face of the building. Existing glass was then replaced with a new facade element to allow for the penetration of the stub-outs.
